What is gluten? 

Gluten is a protein composite found in processed foods and grains, including wheat, barley, and rye. 

Is having a gluten allergy a real thing? 

yes! it is estimated that 1 out of every 100 people have celiac disease, an autoimmune disorder where the body is unable to digest gluten, leading to damage of the small intestine. For these people, eating gluten free is not a choice but a necessity.


I am not gluten intolerant, Why should I consider eating Gluten Free? 

Gluten is insoluble, meaning it does not dissolve when placed in water, and may be difficult for your body to digest. Many people find that reducing or eliminating gluten from their diets makes them feel much better! 

How does Mrs. Bickel's assure that their products are free from cross contamination? 

We are a dedicated Gluten Free commercial bakery. Our primary focus is to provide you with great tasting Gluten Free baked goods that are individually sealed to prevent cross contamination. We only allow Gluten Free products in our bakery... no exceptions

I like my pizzas loaded with toppings, and other gluten free pizza crusts i’ve tried fold under pressure. How do Mrs. Bickel’s crusts compare? 

One of our top priorities at Mrs. Bickels is creating a crust that will hold all those delicious toppings you love without flaking. Whats more, our crust folds like a ‘regular’ pizza, doesn’t get soggy, and can even be reheated without losing its kick. What we’re trying to say is, you can count on us to bring you a consistently quality product!
